Domesticating Ari

Oh Yeah

2 weeks today and I am outa there. I gave my notice yesterday and I mangaed to keep it all polite and uneventful. Most definatly left a puzzled look on my boss's face when I handed it in to him. Just the way I wanted it....

Now I have to endure 14 days of shit work until I walk out of there and never, ever EVER look back. Hopefully once I leave, that will just get James to move on that little bit more that he needs. Only good can come out of this.

Uuuh It's hot

It's so hot out. So hot that even when your outside... You can't sit in it. Yesterday was 32°C at 9 at night. Now try going to sleep in that. Don't get me wrong I love the sun. I really hate the rain sometimes too... Buuuut it's the heat that kills me. Your feet burn on the ground. Beaches are over flowing with gorgeous people, where there is air conditioning, it's broken... You get the point.

I don't wanna work

It's hot outside, gorgeous and I could be lounging at the pool today. But noooooo I have to go to work at 5pm. Shitty. On a good note, I bought this new hair straightener and it's AWESOME. My hair looks sooo pretty. I did have to get it cut first though.I'd take a picture of my hair to show you all but Nah... I'm only good from the hairline up. Lol.

Tomorrow my brand new deck gets put in my backyard. I am sooooo excited about that. The boys were here today clearing out all the wood and crap that was in there. They layed the black felt to kill the grass and weeds and tomorrow the wood will be in. I finally... I mean FINALLY (3years) get a place to sit in my backyard. I will be taking pics to post once they start.

Faackin Bleach

So I am cleaning..the toilet to be exact... In my nice army green pants when splash...I got some cleaner on me. WHO PUT BLEACH IN COMET?????? WTF... I know it said WITH BLEACH on the container but I never thought it would spit on my pants and instantly turn white.... Faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack. I love my pants.

Let me rephrase that... I loved my pants.

Chores

I need help. I am so completely and utterly unorganized and unclean. My house is in shambles and I need help. I have decided to make a daily chore chart. I can find every excuse in the book not to do them but I am going to try my bestest. I often wonder what life would be like if I did this. Perhaps it may be a little easier for all of us. I have 2 charts... One for me and one age appropriate for the 2 kids.

I am trying to domesticate myself and this seems to be the way to do it. If you have any ideas as to what my daily chores should be, please do tell... I'll take any suggestions at this point.

Happy Fathers Day

This is the day you get to let your Dad know he's the best. If he's not, then disregard the day. I love my dad. I love every little thing about him. James says I am so much like him and that warms my heart beyond anything. I have always been told I am like my mom. And I truly believe that. I am cold, mean and often think I am better than others... My Dad is soft warm and cares so much for everyone. Even when he can't, he does.... He IS the best. So to be told I am like my dad, I will forever try to make that true.

Thanks James, and happy fathers day to you.. You know your the best dad these kids could ever have. Even though yesterday may  not be as good as tomorrow... You and I both know you light up their lives every minute your near.

Thats for my sisters. My sisters are 17(yes twins and yes identical) and were heading down a bad bad path. One of them had gotten 2 jobs now to occupy her time and the other one has since gotten a job now too. She's off today for another interview for a 2nd. So to my babes...

Well She came..

The tooth fairy that is... And let me tell you did she ever make Emma's life. The tooth fairy rolled up a letter and tied it with a ribbon and had slipped $5 in it. I guess she does pay for danger pay. She also came in through the window and left a trail of fairy dust from the window and under Emma's pillow. It was magical.

Emma told me she was very nervous as she had been a bad girl lately and she wasn't sure if the Tooth Fairy would want to come get her tooth. But now she knows she's been a good  girl and that she has to brush her teeth very well now.

Amy, your glitter idea, was the magical fairy dust. We mixed blue and silver and it was so fairy dusty... Loved the idea. You helped me helpmake her night. So to you.......
