My Hair..

Oh how I love my hair. Here are the pics.

so hard trying to take the after pictures myself. All in all not bad eh? I got me some sexy straight hair. Now I mustn't tuck, pony, clip or get my hair wet for 3 days. It is also going to be the hottest next 3 days of the summer. Wish me luck.

A few things

I am proud of.

This is what I made for my nieces birthday present. I didn't want to be like everyone else and buy toys or clothes so I made her something. It's a 1st whatever layout. I framed it so they can keep on their walls. They loved it and now I can't wait to see what pictures and where they put them in it.

And I just made this a few minutes ago and I love it. I hope you can read the writing. If not the middle strip says " I never knew how much I loved you until I saw the way you loved our children". And the box under teh bow says " If I could reach up and hold a star for everytime you've made me smile, The entire evening would be in the palm of my hand".

Plan B

That's what I chose. I will get my tooth taken out and then start saving for a new one to go in. Plus this way I'll have sexy hair as I am getting it ripped out. I do not have $600 right now and yes I could save for it, so this way I can have my cake and eat it too. Hair and no tooth. How sexy lol.

Ahh the anxiety is killing me about all this. I just want Friday to come and go. I wish James could be there to hold my hand. So sad. He's never able to be there when I am in need like that.

So mad

I am so mad/sad/frustrated and whatever else I can feel. I had to do an emergency trip to the dentist today as I am in alot of pain. I was told I need a root canal. With no dental it will cost me $600. I have the option to have the tooth extraced instead at only $100. I do not have $600 ( I have $300 saved for my hair) and I do not want to miss a tooth.

Hawaii

Picture it, James and I there next year.... I get a free ticket on one condition. I get my diploma this year. So with that incentive I have enrolled myself back in school. And come January I will finally.. after 10 years be graduated from high school. And I am finishing the right way, not just a GED. 3 courses and voila, not a drop out anymore. So I start on Sept.7th. Same week as Emma. I also will be graduating with my sisters who are 10 years my junior. Who would have thought we'd all finish together.

Other than that nothing much going on with me. I have an appointment to have my hair straightened but that Japanese straightening system on Thursday. At $100/hour and an estimate of 3 hours it had better be all it's cracked up to be. I will most definatly be posting pictures of the end result. I feel horribly guilty spending that money on hair.. but I have saved it, it's my money and I will have beautiful hair for once.

I know I always want something. But this, is permanent and really goes beyond just gorgeous hair. It will finally be wash and wear, product free and will move in the wind lol.

Thats what I felt this morning as I watched Emma discover her tooth fairy money. She had fairy dust again and this time she had some on her cheek and was elated to think the tooth fairy actually touched her. It was way to cute. I just stood there and smiled.

Some days I love being a mom.

Another one bites the dust...

Tonight as we were watching Americas Funniest Videos it happened. Can you see? If your looking and you've been reading for the past few months.. You'll see she lost her 2nd tooth.

Now the first one got knocked out so we got to go through the whole wiggly tooth thing for the first time this time. Let me tell you I had a blast. We'd wiggle her tooth everywhere. I loved it. She loved it. Tonight while she was eating chips and we were all laughing over a video she shreaked. She ran over to me saying "my tooth mom my tooth". I looked and there it was, in her hand, the tiniest tooth. I told her it was ok as she looked petrified and it was....

My baby, she's growing up so fast and just as I imagined it.... No teeth for her very 1st school pictures. She's going down in style.

Funny cat pictures

Usually it's a picture of someone elses cats but this time. She's all mine. Not sure if I announced when I got Percy but we've had her for a few months now and she's fantastic. Barkley and her are best buddies now, but we had to force that one a little. We called it force bonding. If we left Percy out at night to have free roam she'd meow and cry and meow. It got the dog upset so we decided that if we roomed them together then they could keep eachother company. It was sad for the dog the first few nights as the Percy bugged the hell out of him. But as the nights wore on, he stared to play back. Now he's got his very own pussy. :)

Percy is also and avid camper. As seen by our wilderness cameras. She has been seen relaxing in her very own tent. Now isn't this tent the coolest? It's one of those display tents you may have seen at your local seasonal store. We managed to get our hands on one and when Barbie and Ken aren't on vacation in it, Percy is.

Friends..

I do love you my sweet and caring friends. I have recieved every single one of your emails and IM's. Talk about feeling the love. What happened happened because it had to. I no longer want to be a part of that and need to move on. That does not mean I do not want to be a part of al of your lives, just not in that type of situation. I feel I can connect with all of you better individualy rather than in a group setting. Yes it feels a little disconected and not so consistant but I feel I can better focus on you one by one.

I am a lover, not a hater and what this past year has taught me is that people come and go and that's something I will have to deal with as it happens. Not one of you in my life, will go. Not without a fight.

It's never good for long

Or at least for me. When my personal life finally gets a little stable, my friendship one takes a toll. Now I am not going into details but I am so hurt. I care so much about the very few people in my life that when they 'snap' or 'turn' against me, even in a brief moment... It crushes me. Whether or not things that were said were meant in the way they were taken the damage is done.

I did not cry last night but I thought... I wonder how many of those people thought about me last night? Does my loss actually make them notice? Not that I needed notice.. Just comfort. I lost that a long time ago. The one person I thought had me the way I had her, didn't.

That kills me.
