What feels like months for me has only been 2 weeks in reality so bear with the complaining. As you know my neighbours from hell ran us out from them being insanely violent. No matter what I did, nothing happened to them. I was promised the world and in the end they never even evicted them. I even called the police in dispair but they could do nothing.
So we moved in with James parents. You know that story, kids in a glass house in the land of don't touch. It was HELL. I had stress from day one trying to keep my unkeepable kids quiet and not breaking things. Mornings off to school were tough.
I got Emma and Josh enrolled in new schools. The 2nd for Emma and the 1st time for Josh. Emma adapted as if nothing happened. But my heart broke when I had to send her the 1st day with no jacket or backpack. I felt totally poor and dead. Josh on the other hand being the 1st time he was in preschool had a difficult time with me leaving. But I had so much shit to do I left him there anyways and he cried it out. I have since had to un-enroll him as I can no longer afford that luxury. And of course today he was happy as a clam when I left him...
I had to quit my job to do many factors. Daycare being the biggest. 2 kids pick-up and drop-off from school is $800/month. That would leave me $200/month left over... Also going bankrupt, the more you make, the more you pay to do it.
So that leaves me here. In my new house near nothing I have ever been near. I am coming from a 3 bedroom townhouse with a 10x10 back yard ( 90% of it deck) to a 6 bedroom house on 2.5 acres. I'd love to brag about all the pluses here but I have to rent and go bankrupt in order to live here so I will keep it at a minimum. I have plenty of space and my animals are finally being animals. The best part is , my neighbours are 2.5 acres away...
I was just thinking about you not 10 minutes ago wondering what was up with you. It sounds like a neat place though...look at the bright side, roomy, no close annoying neighbors. Look up "free preschool lessons" on the internet and you can try to have your own "school time" with Josh. I was going to do that until my in-laws paid for my daughter's. I was going to have a book of the week, a letter of the week and a number of the week.
