It's the end of the year and it looks like we'llbe all alone. Everyone one we know is sick and that just SUCKS. I was hoping for a games night with a little wine and lots of laughs. Oh well. James and I can do that alone but it would be more fun with company. Maybe next year?

So here's to a new year, new friends and a new body. Cheers to all.

One more day..

And I can bid this year adieu. I think by far this has been my best and most rewarding year yet in life. It's also been the most difficult and challenging year at that. But I think as I grow up, those challenges make me better. I like who I am, I like who I have become. I am finally proud of myself.

I feel like the wind has been knocked out of me with a few things that have been going on so I am just going to step back and re-assess my life. There are things that need to be fixed or I cannot go on with them. They are the things that mean the most to me so they are the most important. I just hope that the person involved sees them as that important as well.

Back to normal..

Yesterday was operation take down and we came out with success. I am a big fan of putting up Christmas months ahead of time, but I am a bigger fan of the boxing day rip down. This year we let it sit boxing day as we still had company but the day after... it was on. It's neat to see what my house looks like plain. We moved in October 15th so I immediately decorated for Halloween. The Day after Halloween was over, I brought out Christmas. So I am thinking I have never really seen my house bare. It looks so clean, modern and homey. I love it even more now. I have to admit I am totally missing my Christmas tree. This is the first year I have not killed it and this one I actually cut down with the kids. It was a special tree. It's now sitting in my backyard so very sad looking.

So all in all Christmas was fantastic and now it's over. All that prep and gone in one day. I really need to adjust to that. Once I do, I'll be ok. But I miss is. I miss the family, I miss the happiness, I miss the excitement...

I miss Christmas.

Merry Christmas Aftermath

Wow 15 adults, 3 kids and 3 present openings = ALOT OF GARBAGE... What a Merry Christmas we had. My kids are so so so so happy with the things people got for them and I am so so so so happy all granparents knew what eacother was getting the kids so we had no duplicates. My Emma is princessed up with many barbies and a horse and carriage to carry them in, My Josh has trucks, planes, Ninja turtles and various other little things to occupy him.. And Mommy and Daddy... Well we have silence. Silence is golden.

The were moving so fast for their first presents.. It was all a blur. These are their cabbage patch kids. Emma got a baby from Santa and Josh got a little boy. They were soon forgotten when the last present came... It was a Baby Alive. The baby alive. The baby alive my mom had to wait in line for and get a ticket to buy baby alive....

And a picture of me opening my candles. Nope :) I am on the other end of the camera so no pictures were taken of poor ol me. But thank you very much for the pretty candles and I think for once in my life I own a candle that is to pretty to light.

Less than a day to go..

I am getting glimpses of excitement for tomorrow but for the most part, I am so not in the Christmas spirit. I have had a rough few days but I think James and I have come to some agreements and I think they will finally make the change for James. He deserves such a great and wholesome life and I just want him to know he's worth it. He just needs to want to feel special and happy. There are so many things in his life that he is so grateful for, he just needs to enjoy them. To be thankful they are there, to be comfortable.

So my Christmas wish is this...

For my husband :

to be substance free. To feel the natural wonders of life.To feel loved to the deepest core and be comfortable with that. To be able to be bored. To go out every day of his life knowing I am here, loving on him.To be happy and take what comes when it comes....

I just registered for another class today at school. I also withdrew from another one. To finally leave the one class and go into something I will enjoy.. Is a huge relief. It's been nagging me since I started in September. Hard to believe my first semester will be done in January. After that all I will have left is my Psychology. So watch out world, here I come. And Mexico.. See you in June.

LAST DAY OF SCHOOL

For me today!!! Then I am off for winter break. I need a good few weeks to catch up on some stuff. So hopefully something will be blog worthy today at school and if not,

It's been fun..

But today it ends. Joshie comes back home at some point this afternoon and then my lovely time with me sweet and quiet Emma will be done. I have enjoyed our time together, we have played, sang, ate, wrestled and laughed alot. I just need to be able to do that with the little man as well.

She has her concert today and she is off to her field trip as well. I just realized all these parents are driving these kids but there was no talk about their booster seats. So I am sending off Emma's with her. I am probably the only one who gives a damn about that.

Once I drop her off, I am going to my aunts. I love my aunt and it is only recent that I am back being involved with her. So I need to make up for a lot of lost time. I also need to go to Walmart and get some stuff so I was hoping to do that all alone. I don't think I have ever been shopping all alone. It will be lovely.
